The Miller FO-SnC combines jack et s tripping , fiber s tripping and the trimming of ar amid y arn (K evlar ) all within a single c ompact ALL-IN-ONE tool. Oper ation Loca t e the s tripper t ool side and slide the black t ab f orwar d as shown in Figur e. 1 The fiber s tripper has thr ee s tripping not ches. The lar ges t s tripping not ch at the out er tip of the t ool is used to s trip cable jack ets fr om 1.6- 3.0mm. Close the t ool ar ound the jack et, hold firmly and dr aw the t ool to w ar ds the end of the cable t o s trip off the jack et ma t erial. The middle not ch is used to s trip 900 micr on tight buf f er down t o the 250 micr on buff er coa ting. Fiber Stripping Ensur e tha t all the fiber s tripping not ches ar e clean and clear of an y debris. Debris in a fiber not ch can damag e or br eak the fiber . The tool ma y be cleaned using a cleaner c ont aining 99% isopr opyl alc ohol such as Miller F S400 Bifur ca t ed F oam Tip Swipes. Fiber Stripping 1) Insert the fiber in to the desir ed tool not ch o o t - y e l p i r m o c . s l 2) Hold the fiber squar e to the t ool. Close the t ool squar ely and firmly ar ound the fiber . 3) Dr aw the t ool to w ar ds the end of the fiber e x erting s t eady pr essur e.
