The Pololu 799 is an 8-channel microstepping motor driver capable of driving up to 3.2 A per phase. It is a direct replacement for existing Pololu 8-channel microstepping motor drivers and combines an easy-to-use interface with high motor currents and a variety of integrated protection features. This driver works with 3.0 - 6.5 V logic and features configurable step modes including full, half, quarter, 1/8, and 1/16 step. It provides robust protection against points such as short circuits, thermal overload, and overvoltage. Additionally, the Pololu 799 features integrated current sensing, adjustable acceleration and deceleration limits, and a range of current limiting options.
