Additional Infomation About Product

The MAX14870 Motor Driver Carrier is a compact surface-mount module designed to make basic motor control easy and convenient. It is part of Pololu’s line of stepper motor driver carriers and is compatible with microcontrollers and other external boards. The module’s integrated DRV8837 motor driver IC supports up to 8 V to 22 V, and can output up to 30 A (peak) of motor current. It includes an on-board, 5 V, low-dropout linear regulator, which allows it to run from a higher voltage than the motor driver can handle directly. The module also includes compact MOSFETs for controlling motor direction, limited short-circuit protection, and a method for monitoring motor current.
