MIC6315 Open-Drain Microprocessor Reset Circuit Features General Description Precision Voltage Monitor for 3V, 3.3V, or 5V The MIC6315 is an inexpensive reset generator circuit Power Supplies that monitors power supplies in microprocessor-based systems. /RESET Remains Valid with V as Low as 1V CC 5 A Supply Current The function of this device is to assert a reset if either the power supply drops below a designated reset 20 ms, 140 ms, or 1100 ms Minimum Reset Pulse threshold level or /MR is forced low. Several different Widths Available reset threshold levels are available to accommodate Manual Reset Input 3V, 3.3V, or 5V powered systems. Available in 4-Pin SOT-143 Package The MIC6315 has an active low, open-drain /RESET output. The reset output remains asserted for a Applications minimum of either 20 ms, 140 ms, or 1100 ms after Portable Equipment V has risen above the designed reset threshold CC level. The MIC6315 is available in a 4-pin SOT-143 Intelligent Instruments package.
