EVALUATION KIT AVAILABLE MAX97220AMAX97220E Differential Input DirectDrive Line Drivers/Headphone Amplifiers General Description Features The MAX97220 is a differential input DirectDrive line S Output Power 125mW into 32I with a 5V Supply driver/headphone amplifier. This device is capable of S 3V Output Drive into 1kI with a 5V Supply RMS driving line level loads with 3V into 1kI with a 5V RMS S 2V Output Drive into 600I with a 3.3V Supply RMS supply and 2V into 600I loads from a 3.3V supply. A RMS S Fully Differential Inputs headphone load is capable of being driven with 125mW into 32I with a 5V supply. The IC is offered with an inter- S Fixed or Externally Adjustable Gain with No nally fixed 6dB gain or an externally set gain through Clicks or Pops external resistors. The external gain setting nodes can S Wide 2.5V to 5.5V Operating Range also be used to configure filters for set-top box applica- S DirectDrive Outputs Eliminate DC-Blocking tions.
