Additional Infomation About Product

The MAX8521ETP+T is a TEC (thermoelectric cooler) power driver IC designed and manufactured by Analog Devices with Maxim Integrated Power Management Specialized. It is optimized for driving optical modules such as lasers, detectors and LEDs. It is an all-in-one chip that combines a charge pump DC/DC converter, a PWM controller, and a power MOSFET on one monolithic device. The package is a tiny 2.0 mm × 2.1 mm DFN8 (PLUS) package and is compatible with the industry’s smallest TEC module size. It provides a highly efficient and easy to implement solution for controlling the current in a TEC module, allowing customers to quickly and easily control their thermal management application. Features include a maximum operating input voltage of 24 V, minimum/maximum output current of 0 mA/1.2 A, maximum output power of 12 W, and a standby current of 1.5 µA. The Maxim Integrated Power Management Specialized TEC Power Driver for Optical Modules is the perfect solution for customer’s optical design needs.
