The MF-MSMF110-2 with Resettable Fuses - PPTC 6V 1.1A-HD 40A MAX (R manufactured by Bourns is a PPTC (Polymer Positive Temperature Coefficient) device designed to provide over current protection for DC/DC converters. It includes a combination of electrical and thermal fuse elements to provide a resettable protection when an over current condition is detected. Its compact package measures 2x1 mm, allowing it to be used in a wide range of DC/DC applications. It has an operating voltage range from 6V to 40V and can handle a maximum current of 40A. It also features a low trip/reset current of 1.1A. Its temperature coefficient is designed to ensure that the desired protection level is maintained even during temperature fluctuations. It is RoHS compliant and can safely be used in any environment.
