SCA100T-D01-004 is a very small, high-sensitivity tilt sensor from Murata’s SCA100T series. It detects the angle of tilt in two perpendicular axes using a differential capacitive method. The two detection ranges of the device are +/-15 degrees or +/-60 degrees, depending on the applied voltage. It is suitable for measuring the tilt of small objects such as those in consumer electronic applications. The device’s capacitance, which indicates the tilt angle, is available on two separate output terminals.
