BIOS 1. Timer/Counter Registers: The Timer/Counter Registers of the MSX ELEKTRONIKA BIOS allow for 6 independent timing/counting channels with 8-bits each. They can be used to manage interrupts from the display, sound, keyboard, etc. The data is stored in the addresses 2-0000055 to 2-000005A, one for each of the 6 channels. 2. Interrupt Vector Pointers: The Interrupt Vector Pointers provide a way to define the address of the interrupt service routine upon detecting an interrupt. This makes it easier for the user to setup the memory and allows for more efficient use of memory. The vector pointers are stored in the addresses 2-00000C8 to 2-00000CF, one for each of the 8 interrupt services.
