1068E SAS
The L5-00221-00 is a controller card from the LSI 1068E SAS series. It connects to systems via PCI Express, and provides eight external 6 Gbps SAS ports for storage connectivity. The card features integrated RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and 50 capabilities, as well as an optional flash-based protection upgrade. It is also capable of sending and receiving up to 256 commands simultaneously, and supports connection to up to 64 devices. The card is compatible with SSD and HDD devices and offers a unique PCIe-to-SAS bridge solution.
