The CS1231-TS is an Analog-to-Digital Conversion (ADC) Control IC manufactured by CHIPSEA. It is designed for interfacing to multi-channel, 24-bit, 10-80 MSPS analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), including the CHIPSEA CG092L0S and CG093L0S devices. In order to reduce board complexity and power requirements, the CS1231-TS can directly control up to dual ADCs and a wide range of supporting components, such as switches, resistors, capacitors, and the like. The CS1231-TS is packaged in a 16-lead, TSSOP (Thin Small Outline Package) and is compliant to the European Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. It features an SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) that is compatible with standard 3-wire serial communication protocols. Other features include an on-chip voltage regulator and adjustable toggle speed for reduced power consumption.
