TECHNICAL DATA SHEET ECO - Lead-free Solder Alloy Description ECO is a high-quality and ecological lead-free soft solder alloy. Application: developed for general hand and automated soldering applications, component attach and touch-up for surface mount technology for the electronics assembly industries where a low melting point alloy has been specified. Available formats: flux-cored wire, solid wire, wave bar and rod. ROMO (J-STD-004) Fast wetting and good spreading. Minimal non-corrosive and clear post-soldering residues which can be safely left without the need to remove them. B2.1 1.1.2.B (EN-ISO 29454-1) Activated rosin (contains halides) for quick-spreading and difficult to ROM1 (J-STD-004) solder surfaces to join copper, nickel, brass and bronze. Also suitable on robotic soldering, rework and repair applications. Low post-soldering residues that are hard and which can be safely left without the need to remove them. B1.2 1.2.3.B (EN-ISO 29454-1) Halide-free resin. Good spread on cooper, brass and nickel. Low REM0 (J-STD-004) spitting. B1.1 1.2.2.B (EN-ISO 29454-1) Activated resin (contains halides).
