The AMS AS5145B-HSSM is a Magnetic Sensors SSOP-16 RoHS package manufactured by Advanced Monolithic Systems (AMS). It is an integrated Hall effect sensor designed to sense the rotational position of a magnetic field. The device contains a Hall element, amplifier, temperature compensation, flat response, digital circuit and detection circuitry and replace the traditional potentiometers. It has a configurable current output and 12 bit Magnetic Angular Position within an angular range of 0° to 360°. The AS5145B-HSSM provides a resolution of 0.0879°. It is designed and tested for automotive and industrial applications and operates up to a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The AS5145B-HSSM has RoHS compliant package type of SSOP-16 and has an operating voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V.
