This component is RoHS compliant and is designed to protect electronic equipment from high voltage transient spikes or surges above 14.5V, 9.5V and 8.55V. The 1.5KE10A is designed to clamp voltage peaks and limit them to safe levels by conducting large currents when subjected to positive or negative voltage transients.
