Answer: Our offices are open from 8:30 to 5:30 Mon to Fri.

Can I visit your premises?

Answer: Yes you can, but stress that X-On is not a retail/shop business, as such our goods are not on display and access to the secured warehouse is restricted. X-On’s focus and specialization is in the wholesale supply of electronic parts to industrial users.

Question: I am not a company, rather an individual retail customer who needs a part you sell. Can I buy it from you?

Answer: Yes you can simply place your order on line and your goods will be sent to you. Unfortunately, you can not come in to browse our goods, other than on the internet, as we are not a retail shop and access to the warehouse is restricted. Picking up your parts can be done, but please contact us first.

Question: If i pick up my goods, will I still get charged a handling fee?

Answer: Yes, if your order is under $200 (ex GST). You will still get charged a packaging & handling fee as this covers all handling expenses not just freight.

Question: Are the online stock quantity levels and prices live?

Answer: Generally data is updated every 24hrs. If part information is considered out of date, live data will be updated upon clicking through to the parts details or buy pages, thus ensuring information is current before any purchases are made.

Question: Where is your stock held?

Answer: 15,000 line items are held here in Australia. Further stock is available from only a week away, held by our international partners, including Mouser, giving access to over an additional 1,000,000 line items.

Question: Can I order samples?

Answer: Yes, simply place our order on line. Most parts do not have an MOQ. However you will still have to pay for the freight and handling.

Question: Do your descriptions and pictures give an exact representation of what I will end up getting

Answer: In most instances yes. However, alternative brands/parts may be provided only if they substantially conform to the descriptions given.

Question: Do I need to be logged in or have an established account to order?

Answer: No, as a guest you can simply order the item you need, and give your credit card details when asked. However, there are benefits, such as order history, entering BOMs etc, from logging in and ordering through your account.

Question: How do I log in on my first time at™?

Answer: On the first occasion you log in, simply type in your email address and choose a password. This will then be your log in details for any future orders you make with us. You do not need to 'register' first.

Question: Can I print a tax invoice of my orders?

Answer: Yes. To print a tax invoice simply log in to your account and follow the links to reprint an invoice. From there you will be able to print tax invoices for all your orders.

Question: What if items are out of stock?

Answer: When browsing our full catalogue range you may find an item that is currently out of stock. In order to overcome this we provide the facility to place the item on Back Order. We will reserve this item on your behalf so when the product is back in stock we can automatically process the order and despatch the product to you.

Answer: Yes, if you are placing an order and paying by credit card or paypal then you will be charged as soon as you place the order.

Answer: Generally your order will be shipped as one delivery once back orders arrive in our store.

Answer: You will be charged one lot of freight per order. This charge will be levied against the first shipment of goods.

A page will then appear after a few seconds, thanking you for your order and giving you the details of your order, with an order reference number. Answer: Packaging and handling are $15.00. if your order is below $200 (ex GST). Orders over $200 are freight free.

Answer: Yes, only if you come to X-On’s Perth warehouse and understand that you will still be charged a packaging & handling fee if your order is under $200.

Question: Can I come in to your Perth office, order my parts and then wait for my order to be picked?

Answer: Unfortunately, you can not come in and browse our goods, other than on the internet, as we are not a retail shop and access to the warehouse in not allowed.

Answer: Your order will processed that day. Any items held in stock will be available to ship with 24hrs. Deliveries will be made between Monday to Friday during business hours.

Answer: Small items are delivered to you using overnight courier services, larger deliveries are made by road.

Answer: Generally speaking the courier companies we use delivery normal business hours, Monday to Friday.

Question: Can I track my order?

Answer: You can track your order by creating a personal account via the My Account section of our website. You will be able to login and check your order status as often as you like. You can contact our Customer Service Team for any order enquiries.

Question: What happens if you are not home to accept delivery?

Answer: Your orders will be delivered via a courier and if your home is unattended a notice will be left in your letterbox or under your door advising our Customer Service contact details. You will get changed a second delivery fee if our couurier has to call out a third time.

Question: Is there a delivery charge?

Answer: Delivery is free (within Australia) for all orders over $200 exclusive of GST. For orders under $200 a small order charge will be levied. The current charge is $15.00.

Question: When will I receive my order?

Answer: Your goods will arrive within 1-3 working days for items held in the Australian warehouse and approximately 6 working days for items held in any overseas warehouse. Monday to Friday but exclusive of public holidays; subject to successful credit card authorisation.

Question: What if I do not live in Australia, or I want my goods shipped out of Australia?

Answer: X-On gladly accepts orders from all around the globe. Simply advise us of your FedEx or DHL account number. However, and please note, your package may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. These charges are always the recipient's responsibility. You will also be responsible, at your expense, to obtain any import or export license or any other documentation deemed necessary by any compliant authority.

Question: Are there any limitations to shipping internationally?

Answer: Possibly. For products shipped internationally, please note that any manufacturer warranty may not be valid; manufacturer service options may not be available; product manuals, instructions and safety warnings may not be in destination country languages; the products (and accompanying materials) may not be designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications, and labelling requirements; and the products may not conform to destination country voltage and other electrical standards (requiring use of an adapter or converter if appropriate). You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. Answer: Sorry, we cannot refund these goods.

Question: Can I return my goods if it is due to me ordering the wrong part?

Answer: If the item has specifically been bought in for you, then unfortunately you can not return them. If the item is stocked by X-On and you have accidentally ordered the wrong value, then we will exchange the goods only if the goods are in the original packaging and are unused. Any returns can not be made with contacting us first.

Question: Returns Stock Policy?

Answer: Returns are only accepted when an RMA request form has been completed within 21 days from date of shipment (Invoice date) or (90 days if product is defective).  This does not include items deemed to be non core lines or "Non-Cancelable/Non-Returnable" ("Non-Standard Products") or governed by a Purchase Agreement Letter.
The return should be in the original packaging and in unused condition (except defective). ESD sensitive products should not be opened except under controlled conditions. By a Customer returning products, the Customer certifies that the products were purchased from X-On Electronics and there has been no substitution in whole or part of same product from another supplier, distributor or other such source of the product. 
Only products originally shipped from X-On Electronics will be returned to X-On Electronics. All others will be promptly quarantined and disposed of or returned to the customer. Some products may require that they be returned directly to the manufacturer.
To obtain a return authorization number, complete a Return Merchandise Authorization form or Contact Us. Your customer service representative will give you a return authorization number and the correct return address for your merchandise.

Question: Costs?

Answer: 20/20 return policy. If the reason for the return is not caused by X-On, the customer will bare the costs of possessing such a return to the values of $20 or 20% of the value of the goods; which ever is greater.

Any costs in returning goods is the responsibility of the Customer.  Return Freight charges must be prepaid by the Customer; we will not accept COD shipments or “Receiver Account Pays” shipments.

Any freight charges on the original invoices will not be credited, except for defective returns.

Do not return any goods until your RMA form has been processed by our staff and authorization given.
